Rev. James E. Reeb

Reverend James Edward Reeb, age 73, passed peacefully from this life to eternal life with Jesus on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, surrounded by his family. James enjoyed the most working at Farmer Elementary School as custodian for eight years and being Pastor of Christian Mercy Fellowship Church in Ney, Ohio, from 1993 to the present, from which he never retired until his passing. He was an avid sports nut and enjoyed riding his stationary bike the past few years. James Edward Reeb was born September 12, 1942, in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of Edward and Lois (Morhart) Reeb. He married Carol S. Adams on September 29, 1963, and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Pamela (Alan) Andres, of Van Wert; sons, Eric (Karen) Reeb, of Toledo, and Scott (Pam) Reeb, of Stryker; grandchildren, Zac (Ashley) Andres, Amanda Andres, Jack Reeb and Joshua Reeb; great-granddaughter, Nadalynne Andres; sisters, Peggy (Rhoe) Apt, Elnor (Earl) Geren and Judy Christman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Gary Christman. Visitation for Reverend James E. Reeb will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016; from 2:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the funeral home with Zac Andres and Pastor Herb Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Ney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Christian Mercy Fellowship Church.
