Shane B. Middleton

Shane B. Middleton, age 43, of Bryan Ohio, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 25, 2018, after a near year long battle with cancer. Shane was a 1993 graduate of Bryan High School and had worked for the Bryan City Schools since 2010 as the Head High School custodian. He also served as the vice president for OAPSE/AFSCME Local #472. He most enjoyed spending time with friends and especially his wife and children on trips to the Outer Banks. Shane B. Middleton was born on September 30, 1974, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of William E. and Emma G. (Sobieck) Middleton, Sr. He married Amber F. Morr on June 6, 2008 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and she survives. Shane is also survived by his children, Vailor and Quinn Middleton and Zave Smith, all of Bryan; his mother Emma Middleton, of Bryan; siblings, William Middleton, Jr, of Seattle, Washington, Terry Bruce (Judy) Middleton, of Orlando, Florida, Jeffrey (Sandy) Middleton, of Toledo, Deb (Wes) Shrider, of Mount Blanchard, Ohio, Amie (Gary) Burr, of Bryan and Leonard (Cindy) Coleman, of Shelbianna, Kentucky and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Patricia Helms. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 5:00 P.M. in the gymnasium of Bryan High School, with his sister, Deb Shrider officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service Memorials are requested to the Middleton Children’s Educational Fund being set up at Farmer’s & Merchants State Bank in Bryan.
