Clarence D. Phillips

Clarence D. Phillips, 61, of Bryan, Ohio, died Thursday morning, September 8, 2011, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center following a lingering illness. A lifelong Bryan resident, he was born July 31, 1950, to Kermit and Lucille (Fry) Phillips. Clarence had retired after several years as a janitor at Fairview High School. Surviving are two sons, Shannon Sprow, Rolla, Missouri, and Tobby (Alice) Phillips, Bryan;six grandchildren; one sister, Barabara Carpenter, Bryan; two brothers, Leroy Phillips and Franklin Phillips, both of Defiance. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Richard Phillips. There will be no visitation, and private family services will be held. Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice.
