Rolene Disbro

Rolene Disbro, age 97, of Leesburg, Florida, and formerly of Edon, Ohio, left this world to be with the Lord on September 10, 2011. Mrs. Disbro was the cafeteria manager for nineteen years with Edon Northwest Schools at the Edon and Cooney Schools. She was also a member of the Bethlehem Christian Union Church for more than sixty years. Rolene Disbro was born on June 22, 1914, the daughter of George and Ollie (Brandon) Long. She is survived by her husband, Donald Disbro, one daughter, Shirley (Wilbur) Booth, of Leesburg, Florida, three grandchildren, Cindy Santana, of Ocala, Florida, Eric Meyer, of Tampa, Florida, and Penny Edwards, of Knoxville, Tennessee, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one stepson, Joel (Sharron) Disbro, of South Lyon, Michigan, one sister, Aletzia Bowles, of Osseo, Michigan, and one sister-in-law, Dorothea Long, of Hillsdale, Michigan. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Grave side services and interment will follow in the Edon Cemetery at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Michael Slagle officiating.
