Lucille M. Devitt

Lucille M. Devitt, age 90, of Edon, Ohio, and formerly a longtime resident of Jackson, Michigan, died at 4:15 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, where she was resident. Mrs. Devitt retired from Hayes Industries and enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home. Lucille M. Devitt was born on July 13, 1921, in Edon, Ohio, the daughter of John and Goldie (Carpenter) Kline. She married William Devitt, her husband of over fifty years, in Jackson, Michigan, and he preceded her in death on June 14, 2000. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Ray Kline, and one sister, Ollivia Kline Gier. Services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012, at 12:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, with Pastor David Miller officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Edon United Methodist Church.
