Mildred M. Zimmer

View Video Tribute Mildred M. Zimmer, 64 years, of Sherwood, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, Bryan, where she had been a resident the past month. Mildred had been a cashier for Wal-Mart for 8 years, and was also a realtor with Zimmer Realty and Auctioneering for 10 years. She was a member of the Butler Eagles Aerie #2733. Mildred M. Zimmer was born on September 17, 1941, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Laura (Arnold) Impton. She married Larry Zimmer on February 24, 1958 in Bryan and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1996. Surviving are her two daughters, Brenda (Shawn) Pinkston of Sherwood and Teresa (Jeff) Finch of Waterloo, Indiana; three sons, Terry Zimmer of Napoleon, David Zimmer of Defiance and Steve (Diane) Zimmer of Edgerton, Ohio; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry; one daughter, Julie Zimmer, one grandson, Larry Zimmer, two brothers, Wayne and Donald Impton and one sister, June Hutchins. Funeral services for Mildred M. Zimmer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2005 in the Krill Funeral Home 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor George Alley, officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan. Visitation for Mrs. Zimmer will be held on Friday, October 21, 2005 from 3-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Mildred M. Zimmer may be given to the Humane Society of Williams or Defiance County.
