Marjorie J. “Margie” Blom, age 69, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a brief illness. A graduate of the former Ney High School and Stauzenberger Business College in Toledo, Ohio, she was employed by the Ohio Art Company in Bryan, Ohio, for 15 years, retiring in 1993. Mrs. Blom was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio. Marjorie J. Blom was born on September 29, 1934, in Ney, Ohio, the daughter of Leo and Dolores (Bauer) Romes. Mrs. Blom is survived by two daughters, Diana L. Shell, of Bryan, Ohio, and Cindy A. (Michael) Tripoli of Bryan, Ohio, two sons, David L. Blom of Bryan, Ohio, and Leo P. (Janet) Blom of West Unity, Ohio, two grandchildren, Taylor Tripoli and Amanda Blom, twin sister, Mary (Fred) Wheeler of Ney, Ohio, and three brothers, James (Betty) Romes of Sherwood, Ohio, Robert (Joyce) Romes of Florida and Greg (Barb) Romes of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services for Marjorie Blom will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation for Mrs. Blom will be held on Monday, September 27, 2004, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with a scripture service beginning at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Marjorie J. Blom may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent to blomfamily@krillfuneralservice.com.
