William H. Taylor

William H. Taylor, Jr., age 70, of rural Montpelier, Ohio, died at 4:16 a.m., Thursday, November 18, 2004, in his home. Mr. Taylor was a machinst and had been employed by Challenge-Cook, The Aro Corporation, JBM Tool & Die and ITT in Archbold during his working career. He was also a 1952 graduate of Edon High School and was a United States Navy veteran. William H. Taylor, Jr. was born November 9, 1934, in Wauseon, Ohio, the son of William H. and Helen (Lattanner) Taylor, Sr. He married Betty J. Close on November 1, 1958, in Angola, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on December 28, 1994. He then married Thelma Powser on April 16, 1996, in Angola and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Craig) Bishop, of Montpelier, Ohio, Cathy Taylor, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Susan (John) Lance, of New Bern, North Carolina, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services for William H. Taylor, Jr. will be Monday, November 22, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Brian Durbin officiating. Burial will follow in West Buffalo Cemetery near Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 21.
