Carmon F. Word

Carmon F. Word, age 89, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 6:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2004, in Parkview Nursing Center at Edgerton, Ohio, where he had been a resident for one week. Mr. Word was a self-employed painter for forty years. He was also a member of the Edgerton Emanuel United Methodist Church. Carmon F. Word was born October 17, 1914, near Edon, Ohio, the son of Harvey and Mable (Wagner) Word. He married Eileen M. Camp on February 15, 1941, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann (Steve) Johnson, of Edgerton, Ohio, one grandson, Bradley Johnson, of Auburn, Indiana, one sister, Wilma Dubois, of Hillsdale, Michigan, four nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by one brother, LeRoy Word. Services Carmon F. Word will be Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Ned Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Edon Cemetery in Edon, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, October 4. Memorials in the in name of Carmon F.
