Charles E. Snyder

Charles E. Snyder, age 68, of Bunker Hill, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 following a lengthy illness.  Charles had worked for many years as a tow truck driver.  He was an outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in New Haven, Indiana.

Charles E. Snyder was born on June 9, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana, the son of Oscar E. and Stella May Snyder.  He married Barbara Ann Sowels and she preceded him in death on May 28, 2017.

Charles is survived by his sons, David (Katrina) Snyder, of Bryan, Daniel (Elizabeth) Snyder, of Alvordton and Michael Snyder; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Patricia Combs.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; a granddaughter, Brianna Snyder and brothers Harold and James Snyder.

A memorial service celebrating Charles’ life will be held at a later date at Dad’s Place in Bryan.  His arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio.
