Daniel E. Gray

Daniel E. Gray, age 65, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at his home on October 23, 2026. Dan was a proud US Army veteran. He worked as a truck driver after his discharge from the service and retired from Jeep in 2004. Dan was a member of the Defiance Posts of the Am Vets, VFW, American Legion and DAV. He was a member of the NRA and proud supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He enjoyed watching horror movies and collecting horror memorabilia.

Daniel E. Gray was born on March 21, 1961, in Defiance, the son of LC and Datha Lorene (Groh) Gray. He was a 1981 graduate of Defiance High School.

Dan is survived by his sisters, Roxanna Gifford, of Montpelier and Deborah Cheek, of Kingsville, TX; brother, Deane Gray, of Toledo and many nieces; nephews; great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roland Gray and Richard Gray and sister, Dawn Relyea.

A time to gather and celebrate Dan’s life will be held from 2:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at the Defiance Am Vets Post 1981, 1795 Spruce Street, Defiance, OH 43512. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, is honored to serve the Gray family.
