Derrick A. Carroll

Derrick A. Carroll, age 35, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan. Derrick was an aspiring tattoo artist. Derrick A. Carroll was born on February 9, 1986, in Amherst, Ohio, the son of Anthony D. and Deborah L. (Brock) Carroll. He married Renee L. Layman on July 21, 2018, in Stryker, Ohio, and she survives. Derrick is also survived by his daughter, Kelsey Carroll, and son Dominick Carroll, both of Lorain County, Ohio; his parents, Tony and Debbie Carroll, of Amherst and a brother, Dustin Carroll, of Bryan. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Amherst. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the drug rehabilitation support program of the donor’s choice.
