Dona Biernat

Dona Biernat, age 69, of Butler, Indiana, died at 9:25 A.M. on Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Laurels of DeKalb in Butler, where she was a resident. Dona was a homemaker and enjoyed painting. Dona was born on September 19, 1950, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, the daughter of Bill and Virginia (Childress) Stafford. Dona is survived by her children, Tonia Henry, Sonia (Dean) Lutjens and William Scasny; four granddaughters, Nicole Scasny, Stephanie Shaffer, Miranda Lutjens and Cassandra Lutjens; five great grandchildren, Angelique Powell, Gabriel Henry, Liam Shaffer, Lilly Scasny and Rylan Shaffer and her sister, Kimberly Stafford. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Marissa Lutjens. In keeping with Dona’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
