Donald “Don” Keith Moser, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 26th leaving behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, and deep love for his family.

Don was born on August 4, 1936, in Defiance, Ohio. He spent the first 39 years of his life there before moving to Bryan, Ohio, in 1975.

He proudly served his country for nine years in the Army National Guard while working at the Foundry in Defiance. Don later dedicated the majority of his career to ITT Higby in Archbold, Ohio. Don started as a truck driver, worked almost all the jobs at the factory and ended his career as Plant Manager. Known for his strong work ethic, he also pursued his passion for farming, often working long days followed by evenings and weekends in the fields.

Don was confirmed at St. Michael Catholic Church in Defiance and was currently a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Waterloo Indiana. He was also a member of the Hamilton American Legion, the Moose, the Eagles, and the Hamilton Fish and Game Club.

Don embraced life fully. He enjoyed golfing, cutting wood, snow skiing, and water skiing, but what mattered most to him was time spent with family and friends. His energy, humor, and love of a good time made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.

In 2010, Don and his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy, moved to Hamilton Lake, Indiana, where they built lasting friendships and became part of a welcoming community. He especially cherished the relationships he formed with the owners and staff at Howie’s on Hamilton, who brought joy and companionship into his life.

Don is survived by his wife, Nancy; his five children, Daniel (Sherry) Moser, Scott (Janice) Moser, Todd (Jodi) Moser, John (Jenni) Moser, and Tami (Terry) Lupton-Dunn; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raphael “Scrap” and Frances Moser; his sister, Maryann Goldenetz; two grandchildren, Daniel Moser and Jennifer Moser; and his son-in-law, Mark Lupton.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 1st, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Krill Funeral Home in Bryan Ohio. Funeral services will take place on Thursday April 2nd at 10:00 am at Krill Funeral Home, with Fr. Thomas Zehr officiating. Burial to follow at Shiffler Cemetery with graveside military rites provided by the combined Bryan American Legion/VFW Honor Detail.
