Marilyn Jean Darby

Marilyn J. Darby, age 83, of Montpelier, OH passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN following a battle with cancer. Marilyn was a legal secretary at Bish, Butler & Thompson, LTD. in Bryan specializing in Real Estate. She retired with over 50 years of service. Marilyn was very active in the Williams County Fair Foundation including serving as Treasurer and was the Fair Foundation representative for the Maple Syrup Festival for many years; See & Do club in Montpelier, the CHWC Hospital Auxiliary, 4-H Endowment Committee and the Great Banquet. She was also a member of the West Unity Presbyterian Church.

Marilyn was born on November 20, 1943, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Earl “Leroy” and Lillian M. (Weber) Bible. She was a graduate of Edgerton High School and attended Davis Business College in Toledo, OH. Marilyn married Eugene Darby on July 7, 1962, and he survives.

A private service will be held for Marilyn at her church at a later date. Service arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
