Michael J. Reinhart, age 50, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at his residence. Michael was retired and a veteran of the United States Army. He served on active duty from 1996-2000. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, camping, canoeing or just being outside with friends. He was a member of the Bryan Eagles. Michael had a big heart and enjoyed helping anyone in need.

Michael Jay Reinhart was born on May 21, 1975, in Defiance, Ohio, the son of Kenneth J Reinhart and Janet M. (Ensign) Reinhart. He was a graduate of Fairview High School and attended Northwest State Community College.

Surviving Michael are his father, Ken Reinhart, of Hicksville; mother, Janet Lashley, of Bryan; brother, David Reinhart, of Laotto, IN; half brother, Kaleb (Destiny) Reinhart, of Huntertown, IN; step siblings, Jason (Tiffany) Franks, of Antwerp and Heidi (Christopher) Taylor, of Hicksville; many nieces and nephews and his “kids”/fur-babies, Harley, Nala and Creed. He was preceded in death by his stillborn daughter, Jesse.

A gathering to celebrate Michael’s life will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 W. Mulberry Street, Bryan, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Military rites will be presented by the combined Bryan American Legion/VFW Honor Guard.

Memorials are requested to the Williams County Humane Society or DAV (Disabled Veterans of America).
