Nathan R. Jackson

Nathan R. Jackson, age 50, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Auburn, Indiana. Nathan worked at MEC as a steel press operator for nearly 10 years before he was forced to medically retire. He was an ordained minister, and an avid fan of NASCAR racing and the Michigan Wolverines.

Nathan was born on April 3, 1976, in Hillsdale, MI, the son of Allen and Marianne (Sanders) Jackson. He married Crystal Koon on February 15, 2003, and she survives.

In addition to his wife Nathan is survived by his son, Ethan (Savanna) Jackson, of Pioneer, OH; daughter, Brianna (Omar) Villegas, of Tacoma, WA; stepson, Nickolas Koon, of Grand Rapids, MI; granddaughter, Reina Villegas; father, Allen Jackson, of Uhrichville, OH; mother, Marianne Hutchinson, of Fremont, IN; and brothers, Andrew (Heather) Jackson, of Whitesburg, TN and Cody (Pam) Jackson, of Fremont, IN. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Barbra Sanders.

Honoring Nathan’s wishes, no services will be held. Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio is honored to serve the Jackson family.
