“Peggy” Margaret Lois Nickloy
The world lost a bit of its spark on September 5, 2026. Peg was born on June 23, 1943, to Leslie and Dorothy Clark. She was a person of unconditional love. She adored her family and passionately shared her stories. Her laughter was loud, her hugs were tight, and she had an incredible ability to heckle anyone sitting across from her at a card game.
Peg played to win—and she usually did. When she won a game, she would look around and declare, with total satisfaction: “As it should be.”
As she loved her family fiercely and unconditionally, it must be noted that a piece of her heart always belonged to Jason from General Hospital. Wooooo Weeeee!
Leaving behind to tell her animated stories is her husband of 44 years, Russell Nickloy. Her sister, Joan (Gary) Colclasure; her children, Joe (Verlane) Nickloy, Joan (Gene) Rupp, and Edward Passmore; son-in-law, Tim Thrush. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Mary Marts, John Clark, Jim Clark, and Chuck Clark.
Upon her arrival in Heaven, we are certain she took one look around and claimed the best seat in the house, where she joined her son, Ronald “Ronnie” Passmore; her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Thrush, and her infant great-grandson, Kaiser Hug. Can you imagine that reunion?
Peg loved family dinners. She always chooses restaurants. She was a master at burning the biscuits and never making chocolate cake. Peg also loved going on golf cart rides and having her nails done with her sister.
