Sandra Lee Gibbeny

Sandra Lee Gibbeny, age 79, of Hamilton, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 in her home.  She was born October 15, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Wilbur William and Margaret Lucille (Kauffman) Mell, Jr. Sandra was a cook at several restaurants including Port Side and truck stops. She married Jerry Gibbeny in 1975 and he precedes her in death.

Survivors include, her brother, Arthur Mell, of Mishawaka, Indiana; close friends, Henry "Hank" Lewis, Jr., Mark Lewis, Kelly Lewis, Dory Lewisx and her beloved cats, Stella and Mandu.

She is preceded in death by her husband and friend, Kathy Lewis.

Honoring Sandra's wishes there will be no funeral services. Sandra will be interred with her husband, Jerry at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, Indiana.
