Scott Edward Penrod

Scott Edward Penrod, age 66, of Defiance, Ohio and Fremont, Indiana passed away in his home in Fremont on Thursday, June 25, 2026.  He was born in Wauseon, Ohio on February 25, 1960 to the late Donald and Mary Lou (Ruffer) Penrod.  He was a painter for many years with Tri-State Painting.  Scott enjoyed boating, life at the lake, and camping.  He was a talented woodworker and "jack of all trades".   He also loved dogs.

Survivors include his brother, Michael (Colleen) Penrod, of Archbold, Ohio; his sister, Susan (Greg) Stuckey, of Fayette, Ohio; his sons, Tim Kerr, Todd Kerr, Tom Kerr.  9 grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.  Scott is survived by his beloved pet, Bodie.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eric Penrod.

Celebration of Scott's life will be held in the future.
