Evelyn M. Westfall

Evelyn M. Westfall, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Laurels of Defiance following a brief illness. Evelyn retired from the Ohio Art Company with over 44 years of service. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was active at the Bryan Senior Center. Evelyn liked to cross-stitch and enjoyed playing cards with her family on Friday nights. Evelyn was born September 26, 1936, in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Adolph P. and Alice A, (Trausch) Steffes. She was a 1954 graduate of Kunkle High School. She married Russell Rose on September 29, 1956 and he preceded her in death. She later married Marvin Beamont and he preceded her in death. Evelyn married Elmer Westfall and he also preceded her in death. Evelyn is survived by her several stepchildren, including Darleen Hausch, of Arizona, Tracy (Rhonda) Westfall, of Columbus, Ohio and sister, Donna (Denton) Jack, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother and his wife, Carl (Carolyn) Steffes, nephew, Kenneth Steffes and stepchildren, Dan Westfall and Steve King. There will be a funeral mass celebrated for Evelyn on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Andrew Wellman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan Ohio has been entrusted with her arrangements. The family suggests memorial donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
